Neelkantha Mahadeva Temple Kumbhalgarh Fort

A unique temple of Lord Shiva inside the Kumbhalgarh Fort, Kumbhalgarh. 

Original construction : 10th Century, current structure in 1458. Constructed by Rana Kumbha. 

6ft large Monolithic Shiva Lingam, made up of black Kasauti Stone, the stone which is used to test the purity of Gold.

An example of Nagara style of hindu temple architecture, a sarvatobhadra temple on the basis of access and the circumambulatory path built in it.
